Since EmacsConf 2019 is a virtual (online) conference, no registration
is necessary for watching and/or participating in the event. But...!

The awesome folks at **200ok** as well as the **Free Software
Foundation** have talked to us and put together two satellite/sister
events for EmacsConf 2019, at their Zürich and Boston offices
respectively on the day of the conference (November 2)!

## 200ok (Zürich, Switzerland)

As the official EmacsConf 2019 Zürich satellite, folks at 200ok will
be following and watching the livestream remotely, and likely feature
a selection of additional live talks parallel to the main track as
well.

See the [announcement on
emacsconf-discuss](//lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacsconf-discuss/2019-09/msg00010.html)
or on the [200ok
blog](//200ok.ch/posts/2019-09-17_announcing_the_official_emacsconf_zurich_satellite.html).

Since space in the Zürich location is limited, if you would like to
attend the satellite in person **make sure to RSVP** either by
emailing <emacsconf-register@gnu.org> or using the meetup link on the
200ok announcement blog post.

## Free Software Foundation (Boston, MA, USA)

As the official EmacsConf 2019 Boston satellite, the folks at the
office of the FSF will be following and watching the livestream
remotely, and may feature additional live talks parallel to the main
conference track.

See the [announcement on
emacsconf-discuss](//lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacsconf-discuss/2019-10/msg00003.html)
or on the [FSF
blogs](//www.fsf.org/blogs/community/november-2-save-the-date-emacsconf-is-coming-to-boston).

Since space is very limited, **be sure to RSVP** as soon as possible
by emailing <mailto:campaigns@fsf.org> if you would like to attend the
Boston satellite in person.
